Hello!
I’m Blake, born and raised in Canton, Ohio, but spent a majority of my time in Akron, Ohio where I graduated from The University of Akron with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design. I specialize in typography, branding, page layout, and custom graphics with keen attention to the details. I also have a strong interest in Photography, music, pop culture, and food.
My most recent experience includes working as a Graphic Designer for the Worldwide Enterprise team at Apple Inc. in sunny Cupertino, CA, where back home I served as a technician supporting the Genius Bar in retail. Previously, I have experience in marketing promotional materials and designing keynote presentations with Amazon, and I have freelanced commercially for myself designing invites or promotional materials to even company branding and identity initiatives. My skillset includes Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Wordpress, Sketch, and Keynote, to name a few.
In my spare time I enjoy keeping up to date with pop culture, learning new talents, illustrating on my iPad, and investing time in finding new music. Although I do not play any instruments, music has always played a huge role in my life and I have been revolved around it since a young age. I enjoy a good drink or brewery, all things dogs, and attending local sport events.
